Hey guys we are still up in the air about going. i was wondering what are the best tent stakes to use at pismo? i have never been there.

Jagy, what we have used in the past is a 15 inch 2x4, with a hole drilled in the middle. You then put a rope through the hole and secure it to the 2x4. Dig holes, one for each stake about one foot down, bury them, then tie the end of the ropes to the loops on your tent where you put the stakes. This works really well, we were out in some pretty heavy winds and had no problems.
