FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Spent most of the day working on my Clazzio seat cover and and heated seat install.  Still have to finish the wiring and install the back seat covers but I figure total time for this install will end up being around 8 hours.  The instructions say 2 hours for the heated seat pads and 2 hours for the clazzio so I am about double that.

The seat covers are about as good as people on the forums claim and my color combo matches the 2010 TT seats perfectly.

Final pics tomorrow

where from? Are yours heated as well? or is the heating thing a separate install?
We ordered them here

http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/sparks-toyota/96185-new-custo...

The heating element/kit is a separate buy and install.

Nestor is right.  We got them from TRDsparks you can PM him from the link above for a quote.  The site says 449 but they are selling them for 390 no tax or no shipping.

the heaters were separate.  The ones I got were from here

http://www.roadlessgear.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?&store_code=t...

they seem to work fine, get hot, the kit was easy to install.  No previous experience with them but would order them again.

Covers, but they fit so tight they look like OEM.  As Nestor said the center is leather (or suede if you want), outside pvc.

If you want to see them in person I work in foster city and live in redwood city.  based on 1 weeks experience I would def buy them again.

Custom colors will take 8 weeks unless they happen to have them in stock.  I received mine in 2 weeks from order date, Nestor 8 weeks.

I do like the seat heater... and its not to bad on price either.. Would definetly be an improvement over farting every morning, and smell better...  LOL

The Clazzio seat covers (Black sides/Red inserts/Black stitching) are installed. They are very nice, good material and excellent workmanship. Will install the seat heater kit when they arrive.

Nice.  They go well with your color theme.

I agree the workmanship is better than I expected.  A few odd wrinkles here and there but everyone I show cannot believe they are seat covers.

Hi guys,

Sorry for necroposting.

I want to purchase a Clazzio seat covers set for my 2013 FJ plus a separate heated seats kit. As far as I know, a typical heating kit envolves putting the heating element underneath the original seat material, but If I decide to cover my seats with Clazzio covers, I'd have to glue the heating element to the top layer of my original seats before I cover them. Is it safe? Can I burn/ruin my original seats by doing this?

Hope I made sense.

Thanks.

When I did my install I flipped the stick part of the element UP so it stuck to the under side of the clazzio not my seats.  I cannot honestly say if it will damage my seats (never checked) but I dont think the heat will.  Mine work great.

Thanks Lance,

I guess if it would damage the seats you'd smell something burning by now.

Can I ask you the name of the heating kit you got (the link is no working) ?

This is the place we got them from and the same part number as what I bought http://www.roadlessgear.com/Suzuki/p/1732/seat-heaters

Awesome!

Thanks Lance.
