Clean up day at Hollister Hills SVRA

Where: Holister Hills SVRA

When: Saturday Oct 27, 2012

Time : 9am -12noon ( tentitive )

What: Well what do you think, its a clean up at Hillister Hills.

More info: They would like to have a clean up of upper ranch and plant some stuff in lower ranch. This is really all the info I have right now. I am waiting for the flyer, which I should have by this weekend. This is a great way to help out a place that many of us visit quite often. They plan on feeding everyone lunch at noon. there also talk of raffle prizes!

The last couple of times we had a good turn out from norcal and I would like to keep up that tradition.

Many time people ask how they can get involved and help out to preventing trail closures. This is one great way to give back. HH is constently under attack and threated of being closed down. This is one way we can prove that the wheeling community cares and is willing to lend a hand.

So post up and respond if you plan on attending. Its a couple of month away but I want to get an idea of who can make it..

When I saw the first post a while back, the wife and I made plans to come out and help clean. 2 weeks ago, we found out that the entire family is doing the walk for breast cancer. Since both of our mothers are fighters, we decided to change the plans and join the family and walk. Sorry for not being able to make it and if felt like being stuck between a rock and a hard place but hopefully you guys will have fun while doing something worthwhile also.

Hope the weather is nice on Sat. Cleaning or walking in the rain is no fun period.

Bummer you cannot make it.. Family first in my book.. Hope you guys have a successful walk and can raise lots of $$ (at least I think thats what the walks do). We will catch you on the next one.
