OK so I mounted the new slidders on my fj with the 8 mm bolts (who's Idea was this) that were suplied with them palm to fore head wtf. Have any of you guys mounted your slidders like this and not have them ripped off???? Im going to stitch weld them next friday then Ill feel better... Opinions???

My sliders are secured with bolts and although I have tried.  I have not been ripped off yet.   \m/ ^-^ \m/

If I had a welder though.  I would go that route..

Tack the corners on I think that is what I might do.

IM going to do 1 inch tacks on the sides and then a stitch on the bottom.. cool beans

The correct hardware to use for sliders is M8x1.25" x 35mm grade 10.9. You will need 16 of these and flat washers for both sides.
