Where are y'all mounting your smartphone mounts?

Just got this one,

and so far the best place I found is here, though either gets in the way of the shade or storage door.

Any other ideas?

I made my own mount. I can switch devices (iPad/iPhone) by exchanging the arms or holder

x2. i don't have one, but bought one for a couple friends before. btw, BGameFJ, if i remember correctly, mounting to the front windshield is a no-no in CA...just a heads-up.

First I've ever heard of a ProClip. They look interesting, though my panavise served its purpose perfectly. I'll keep em in mind next time I'm thinking of mounting something!

How easy was the mount to install? I like the location by the vent. My charger has so much juice my phone gets hot and the screen blanks out. Not fun when using it for GPS.

Looks good. I am looking into using the panavise bracket in conjunction with a pro clip 7in tablet mount to mount up my nexus 7 on the passenger side of the console. looks like it will work but may cover the stereo a little. Still have a little time till i get my FJ to figure it out.
