FJ Cruisers of Northern California
Hey everyone. I just moved to Humboldt County a couple of months ago from Washington, and I've noticed that there is not much forum activity from up here. Are there any members close by that wheel in my neck of the woods. I'm new to this forum, but not the FJ.

Also, is anyone heading to the FJ summit this year? It's always more fun to go in a group.
I work up on the Northcoast a few times a year. I bring the FJC when I can. We should try to hook up. We will have a camping trip in July.
Bill
Let me know when you are heading my way. I am going to the FJ Cruiser Summit in July, so I might be out of town then.
Howdy! Don't get up that way very often. Love the area tho.
there was one in Fortuna/Rio Dell, but i think he sold his FJC...still wheels i believe. i head up there about once or twice a year...have friends in Samoa. whenever i'm up there, we hit Samoa Dunes.
btw, welcome to the site!
I just went and checked out the dunes. Let me know next time your going to go hit the sand.
welcome to the site!!
i'm further south and moving way further east lol....
If you keep your eyes open you will notice there are a few FJC's that live in Eureka like my wife and I both have the Transformer Barricade ones (hers has the awesome front bumper and mine the 3" lift). There is a mailman that uses his all Black TT edition at the Henderson Post office, a manager at Bed Bath & Beyond and another that works at St. Bernards. I use mine as a daily driver and hunting but other than that I haven't made any "wheelin" trips in it yet. Welcome to Humboldt and to this site :)
Hey Barricade, it's good to hear that I'm not the only one around (besides that hideous one at Roy's car lot... hahaha). We should plan a meet and greet sometime, and grab a beer. I was part of the Northwest FJ Cruiser Club, and we were a pretty active group with mod days, meet ups and wheelin trips. It would be great to do the same thing around here. If you ever need any help working on either one of your FJ's, let me know. I have torn mine apart multiple times.
If you see a lifted Army Green with a Demello bumper and a Baja rack it's probably me, so don't hesitate to say hi.
Cheers
I just might take you up on that offer since I will be adventuring into making a baja rack for all these off roads I recently purchased. I tried to buy one from the internet but after 2 months of being jerked around I finally cancelled my order and figured I can make one the way I really want it better anyways.
In regards to local FJ Cruisers, there are plenty of them around and my wife is more of a goober about having one so she has talked to plenty of them but that is as far as most of that went. There are probably about 10 - 15 here in Eureka alone and then you have the 5 - 10 old FJ40's like mine running around here and there too.
By the way my name is John and my wife is Ashley, nice to see another local on this site too. We both drive the "Transformer" FJCs so if you see us feel free to wave also.
