new guy from davis.....

hi everybody! new to the forum and 4x4. ive had my 07 fj for a year now, its pretty stock but i just slapped some new BFG's on and i cant wait to hit a trail. nothing too hardcore since im a total noob. would appreciate any advice.... thanks

PC is nice local spot to get your feet wet. The new obstacles are really primarily for more hardcore Wheelers tho. I tried them but got high centered and really tippy. Still fun try.

Ghost/DWH you guys should set up a SAC area trail run! There are tons of people Jonesing for a real trail run.

I know you guys know the trails up there better than most.

give it a little more time for the snow to melt. May will be a good time to start possibly. With the recent closures tho, the trails will bee a little more limited. I plan to run hell hole in May but that trail requires some experience and proper setup. A gold lake or eagle lake run would work for most.
