They trade marked the trapazoid design that only demello is using.

If you look at Outpost, MT, and the DO Hybrid, the rub rail is two "D's" linked together and welded onto a square tube. Those are the only three that have that design.

They are the only three that "STILL" have that design. There were once as many as 11 manufactuers of that design - MT took care of the rest. Outpost seems very closley tied to MT, kind of like an in house brand? The outpost sliders look a lot like the sliders MT has stoped DO from making. The only place to buy outpost is from MT. The only pictures of the outpost sliders is on the MT fj.

If I had to wager, Outpost probably kicks them $50, a glazed donut and a bottle of anything (to go) for each slider they sell.

Its not the slider, or the kickout alone that's in question. Its the overall design and how its built as well as how the kick out is attached/designed that's in question.

I'm eagerly waiting for people to put their money where their mouth is and start pulling off their metal tech bumpers to sell. :)

I love that ugly bumper, and would be willing to switch out my ARB for one.

This is really pathetic.

We have two small companies that both support the FJ community.They have a problem, and they will work it out.

This is NOT call to grab your pitchforks, and rally around your favorite vendor. The postings in the blew room were weak, but the Socal forum is worse. Frankly, if it wasn't for Deftspyder, I would believe there is a terminal epidemic of sandy... clams down there. I would be willing to write the whole bunch off.

Let's hope for more social discourse, until then I am done with this.
