FJ Cruisers of Northern California
POSTPONED! New date: Sunday, April 22nd.
REASON: It's been pissing on us all week.
The Tacoma World guys are rolling from Union City. They have about 45 trucks going. The caravan will be a giant smorgasbord of 'Yotas.
The main convoy is meeting at the Hollister Safeway at 9:30AM. Convoy from Union City is leaving at 8AM. Details below.
What some of us decided to do was bail as soon as all the Tacos turn for Safeway so we can beat the crowd to the gate. The FJs should be at the ranger shack around 9:45ish. Gate at 10AM to air down if our schedule works out.

Wheeling would bet tough with 40+ trucks. I'm sure we'll split into different groups, but a 50+ caravan would be pretty sweet! Us FJs can go play by ourselves :)

I see that Dave(man) is coming from the CV. I'd be coming from Fresno. Anyone else from the middle of the state?
stock will do just fine at hollister plenty of stuff at hollister to do dont need to be a expert plus with 50 plus rigs you will get tons of help! see ya there!
RJ
Stock will be fine for starters. They are better equipped from the factory than most other 4x4s.
Jason,
Want to caravan up to Hollister? Do you have a CB?
Running with the convoy sounds fun, but man 50+ trucks is a long line at the air station. if I had Monster Valves and a CO2 tank it wouldn't be too bad. I think Ill head over to Hollister around 9am, get in some practice and be ready for everyone to roll in.
Co2 alone will fill your tires up rather fast. The monster valves are really not needed. I can air up all my 285/75/16 KM2s from 12 psi to 35 psi in about 5 mins.
Actually that's not too bad. My current setup is a 12v hand held compressor. Its not even worth using.
