What are your thoughts on this brand OME suspension?
Also what is the difference between both these kits?

versus

Is their anything else that I need to buy or does the kit have everything needed for a lift???
Thanks!!

Thats not a bad deal. I paid 200 for my springs alone. I drove with stock front bumper for a year with the 885, had no issue. I don't have any experience with the toytec and procomp tho. How many miles on procomp shocks?
Are you using the front spacers?
To clarify tho, I do run the OME nitrocharger shocks.
That's a good deal but keep in mind suspensions do have a life so ask how many miles are on them.
I've asked, waiting to hear back.
About 20k miles. Not sure if I want them now.
I bought used springs, front and back for around 100. But I bought new Bilstein shocks at $360. That was the best bang/buck IMO.
the set you listed for 250 sounds ok but you're not getting front shocks with that. You don't want to run 885 coils on stock shocks. It'll be too stiff for them and they won't be able to compress properly to do their job. If you're looking for a budget lift and never plan on adding aftermarket gear, then just do a spacer lift like a rough country or toytec
You definitely don't want to run stock shocks, 885 springs and a spacer. That just doesn't sound good at all.
If you want to buy OME's, then buy from Toytec or TRDParts4u.com. Or wait til you can find someone selling a full set and not some bastardized lift kit with parts from 2 or 3 manufacturers.
Just my .02
Thanks Shack, you make some valid points. I think I'm going to pass on this set. I may save up and get the OME down the road though. However do you think the rough country or toytec spacer lifts can handle some light off roading?
either will be fine, but not as good as an OME kit, which isn't going to perform like an ICON, Sway-a-way or other top tier coilover. I only mentioned the spacer lift because of cost. If you want OME, then definitely buy OME. Personally, I'm running OME heavies in the front and mediums rear. It's a solid lift but it is pretty stiff. Mediums in the front and you should golden.
My first lift was the bilstein shocks, which provide up to 2.5" lift in the front, and the Daystar spacers for the back. They seemed to provide more like 2" of lift. I have the rear spacers on craigslist right now:http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/2919154578.html
I got the Bilsteins from ebay here:http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-07-11-Toyota-FJ-Cruiser-Suspension-Lift...
That kit comes with the spacers though. If you can talk them out of them, you might save money getting mine.
