Seems like a cool product, I will be trying this out on the mirrors, door handles, and some other small parts.

Hi! I would like to make the "silver" parts of the FJ black (matte). What would be the best way to do so?

Paint would be the easiest way to do the black out A, you can remove most of the parts pretty easily. A great project at a install day, I know Bz and Nestar have allot of experience with that kind of stuff.

Just sand and paint like Jim said.  I did mine in a day and they turned out great.  There are plenty of how-to threads on the blue room and plenty of opinions of what paint to use, and bumper removal is incredibly simple.  I chose dupli-color bumper coating and IMO it looks identical to the shade of the already black plastic bumpers.  Krylon fusion is also another favorite.

Oh, btw, I believe I used 320 grit sandpaper to get past the clear coat and most of the silver paint.  And if you need help on bumper removal, either grab the service manual off the blue room or shoot me a message and i can give it to you too.
