For TRD CAI installation you also need these;

Fernco Inc. rubber coupling 4" x 3" long - reducer.
Part number. 1002-43
A short 4" PVC tube as stiffener at the snorkel/reducer joint.

you won't have a problem John

Hey Bz,

Didn't you mean, you'll have no problem?  We both know I can't do the install.  I'd probably drill holes on the driver's side.  On a side note, I saw the "progress" picture on FB.  Holy Connolly dude, what are you doing?

NO issues what-so-ever. I'm in the process of doing a dual battery and my new wireing harness is 4 times the size of an S-Pod and there are no fitaminet issues. The snorkel installation doesn't have anything to do with that area so your all good.

Did you go ARB brand or other brand?

07, All stock..

ok i am wait on a reply so soon i will have a answer for excact price he has to contact ARB so i will let you all know soon what the final difinitive cost would be

depending on price would like to have one! Thanks!

Guys keep in mind than knock-off snorkels can be found on Ebay for about 175$ and are exactly the same shape, plastic, etc

Another thing I like it that they do not have any logo written on the side...

Yup, Manoweb is correct...Not sure about the "exactly the same shape, plastic, etc"  Does anyone on this site have the generic version?  If so are you happy with the snorkel?  I like the look of the ARB but for $200 bucks I would go THE eBAY route.  Let me check with the Blue room.

http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/colorado/144235-snorkel-quest...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-2010-TOYOTA-FJ-CRUISER-4-0L-SNORKEL-CO...

That has been discussed already on the blue room, and some people (that have an ARB it seems) strongly defend the "original" one, others (that have the knockoff) say there is no difference, etc etc

This is plastic. I would understand a 400$ price for something made with metal, especially stainless steel or aluminum, but being that plastic even at 150$ I think they still have quite some margin.

This said, there is also another version, called "volant":

This one has a different design.

I am now leaning on the Ebay side of the fence...anyone else want to chime in?
