We'd most likely be up for this.

Is this a camping night or motel? I just googled it, it would be about a 5 hour drive for us, so that's reasonable.

Let us know when you nail down a date - Ann

Hungry Valley is the second largest unit of California State Park's Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division. Located in the Tejon Pass north of Los Angeles and along the Interstate 5 corridor, Hungry Valley offers 19,000 acres and over 130 miles of scenic trails for motorcycle, All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), dune buggies, and 4x4 recreation. All levels of Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) operator skills will be challenged by the wide variety of terrain and trails at Hungry Valley SVRA.

Elevations at Hungry Valley range from 3,000 to nearly 6,000 feet. Occasional snowfalls occur during the winter. Summers are most often hot, dry and dusty. The most pleasant times of the year for OHV fun are during the Spring and Fall months when the temperatures are mild and occasional rain showers make for good traction and reduced dust. Nighttime temperatures often drop below freezing in the Spring and Fall, as well as during the Winter.
I've posted a poll about the location of the meet. I apologize for the SoCal slant in the location choices, but please take a look and comment. If you don't like any of the locations, chose "other" and comment. Keep in mind, we need to consider folks from San Diego which may push the boundaries a bit more south.

Thanks.

Oh sure just cuz you guys got the idea started it must at your end of the state !!! hehehe

Like I said in the blue room having something like this as an annual event will give the chance to have the location all over the state.. To me thats pretty darn cool.

I will go vote now..
We'll keep an eye out for final dates but early May would be good for us.
Looking forward to it.
We're doing Spring Fling in Moab, Apr 14-21, so those dates would be out for us.
put me down for this. not too bad of a drive maybe 4 hours from silicon valley?? been there once pretty cool fun trails and there is camping. Gorman has motels
The poll for the date is up!

Everyone go vote for that 4th weekend, May 23 & 24.

The first is Right after Spring Fling, and we'll be pooped.
The last one is Memorial Day weekend; more traffic, cops, higher gas, higher hotels, crowded camp sites.

Just my 2 cents!

:-)
OF course you do know that Memorial Day is on the 25th this year....

I had to google it but its the 25 this year..

I voted for the last weekend, but then I realized that was only two weeks from pop day so I may not be able to go but I will have to see what happens..
No, I'm a freakin dork. (I need some emoticons to adequately express myself, here!) Memorial day is always later than that. Oh well.

We're free any date - whatever...
depends on the time and job status for me but add me in
No, you're not invited, lol
