Merced River

Very low right now which is typical all over the Sierras. Just out of El Portal there is a series of small well kept campgrounds that post $10 per night. Nobody there during the week at least.

There are some lunkers in the deeper pools which I did not catch damn it.

It's a beautiful place and the weather is perfect. OK a little cold at night.
