"the best one" is subjective.  A lot of the pre-runner style bumpers are similar in that they are light weight and typically don't have means for mounting a winch.  If you clarify what your needs are for the bumper I think we'll be able to narrow down your possibiliies.  Things to ask yourself:

When you say pre runner do you mean tube style bumpers?  What is your budget?  Do you need a winch?

I agree. It is a matter of true preference each person will tell you blank is the best but it really matters what you want.  you have to know exactly how much you want to spend, if your really are looking for prerunner looks or you want more portection?

with that said check out metal tech there tube style bumpers are cool and come with a bash plate that can be exchanged out for the winch plate so you dont have to run around town with a winch when you dont need one. there is also rocktek,and demello that i know of.

if you dont want to go tube check out expiditioneers, demllo, arb if youd like, warn, road armor (from what i have heard of road armor they make awseome bumpers but service is s&$t

Thanks for the feed back guys. I geuess the bettere question would be which one would you recommend. I really like the intense fab bumper but ive heard that they are out of business? I like that style and would like something similar to it. Ive also been looking at the N Fab rsp bumper  as well.

Take a couple of pictures of the Intense Fab bumper and go to a local fabricator and see what it will cost to have it made.  I made mine and it cost me about $150 in material.

I bought the NFab RSP last month and absolutely love it. Looks real mean from the front! Search "N10se Fabrication" on Facebook and you'll find the owner welding the same bumper you're talking about out of his garage. I believe he's asking $750 for it and he'll install it if you go to his place in Vegas. He's a real nice guy and will answer your emails pretty quickly.

Intense Fab went out of business about 2 years ago. I have the IF bumper though and I love it.

Definitely go tube style if you want a prerunner type FJ.

I have to second the metal tech bumber if you really like the tube look/design.  Nice versatile, almost modular design with the winch option.  And the metal tech people are very nice to deal with.  ... I do not have their bumper...       Good luck and take pics of whatever bumper you get!

Thanks guys. I ordered an NFab rsp bumper on the 7th. Im getting anxious and still hasn't shipped yet. Not diggin the lack of communication either. I'll definately be posting pics when it gets installed!
