FJ Cruisers of Northern California

As most of you know, the Trail Teams has been off since October. This has given me the time to complete the projects I missed on when I was traveling for Toyota.

As some of you may know from my attending a few of the socials, I miss FJ Owners. You are the best people I could ever imagine working with. Always open to ideas and insight.

I wanted to let you guys know, I am available for one on one or small group driver training. I have ten years experience in the off road industry, and am one of twenty International 4 Wheel Drive Trainers in the world. I spent the last three years with the trail teams, and have trained numerous owners in 48 states. I invite you to look over my website: www.garrettmatt.com

I also am a highly competent mechanic. In the last 4 weeks I have build a new frame, and done a frame up rebuild on a flat fender, and done a solid axle swap on my '86 mini truck. If you have a suspension lift or other small day project you would like completed, I'm the guy for the job.

As some of you may know, I have been working closely with Driven Industries Tube Worx out of Gilroy on some new low budget FJ Cruiser suspension and chassis products. We are able to complete custom work, and will have a product line out shortly. Stay tuned for that.

Again, if there is anything I can help you with, please feel free to drop me a line.

Oh nice! Maybe we should put our heads together and customize something . . .
Let me know what you want to do.

Products should start coming out in the next month.

Sol: My camera is still sitting at the shop, so this is the best photo I have.

Nice Garrett! Are you doing this at Kyle's? I might need to pop by and check it out.
its up at Loma Prieta Pantera. Kyle was having some issues, which caused the shop to move to Gilroy. This move coincided with my timeframe to build my truck, so its getting built in Los Gatos/Santa Cruz.

Its did a good job of exceeding the annual milage for my volvo (insurance purposes) in 3 weeks. :eeek:
Log Gatos/Santa Cruz.. Hell I want to come on by and take a look. Is it cool if we come on by and check it out???
I would like to say yes, but I can't. The shop closed to the public in 2005 and has not had a major project since (up until the gpw and toyota). Its in the middle of nowhere, up a private road. I feel fortunate enough to know the owner, and even more fortunate to be able to use the shop to build my truck. I've feel so fortunate to have gained the respect and connections within the south bay area.

Although, going on a test drive to a bar in Santa Cruz to grab some local brews sounds like an amazing idea!
Yeah I hear ya.. I live up on the Mtns myself so I understand.. Yeah whenever you want to head out give me a head up..
nice garrett can't wait to see your rig all done up.
Rig is pretty close to being 'done.'
