FJ Cruisers of Northern California
Hey all... I got an itch that needs scratchin'. I won't be able to make Pismo in November, but I was wondering if anyone was planning a trip to Hollister in the next 3 or 4 weeks.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I am new to 4 wheeling, so hopefully some of you guys can show me the ropes.
Will try to get off work on Saturday morning for this.
My FJ is 6spd with new duratrac tires. No sliders or skids yet. Hoping to try some of the green runs.
What should I plan to bring?
A CB would be good to have. gloves might be handy. a good pair of shoes to walk around in. I can't speak for everyone but I'd imagine with all of us going we should have the recovery gear covered.
I am down for Saturday the 12th...just let me know a time and place to meet. I suggest we meet at the new obstacle course.
John
where is the new obstacle course located in relation to everything else? Hopefully close to the main gate?
When entering the Upper Ranch, instead of turning right, up the hill to the old obstacle course, keep going straight on McCray. You pass the new obstacle course (which will be on your left) before you see truck hill on your right.

I will getting there around 10:30. Hoping to see you guys on the trails. I will be the one in the red 3rd gen 4runner.
I'll be rolling through San Jose around 915 or so.
I got a wheelin itch and the rain wasn't that bad, so I'm in. At least it won't be dusty out there. I'm in South SJ off 101@Blossom Hill. I'll be leaving around 9:15a and wheel for a couple hours.
