My First Surf and Turf

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to everyone I met at my first Surf and Turf this last weekend. I have had my FJ for 3 years, but for whatever reason never made it out let alone have any off road fun.

For anyone who reads this and hasn't gone, your missing a great time. I almost didn't make it. I worked a graveyard shift the night before leaving me to over sleep. I hadn't packed, and by the time I got on theroad it was past 7:30pm Friday. Nonetheless, I arrived at 10:30 to some of the coolest people around.

Tater! (Potatomutato) Your the man! Thanks for showing me the ropes and introducing me to everyone! Who can forget the bar and dinner. Thanks for gathering us all on the NorCal site and promoting the Surf and Turf altogether. If it wasn't for your work on this site, I would never have known Surf and Turf existed.

Thank you to everyone for their hospitality and help. I had an awesome time! I totally didn't expect any of it...from the camp, culture, dinner, and overall general friendliness.

p.s. for those of you wondering, Oreo (my doggie) is much better. It took her until 5pm today, but she's back to normal. She had a good time at her first Surf N' Turf as well as her first off road experience.
