FJ Cruisers of Northern California

While driving my FJ (at any particular speed) I'm noticing that when I have the accelerator slightly depressed I'm feeling a vibration that seems to be coming from the motor. Once I let off or give it more gas it stops. Anyone know what this could possibly be? I'm also only averaging 13-14 mpg highway at the moment and I'm thinking that whatever vibration I'm feeling may be playing some part in that. Air cleaner is clean, spark plugs changed in june, and tire pressure is good.

Thanks,

Daniel

They want 300 bucks to do a tranny fluid change, I want to make sure it's not something else before I spend that money. It's been doing it awhile, I procrastinated a bit through the summer months being busy with Family and work. I need to take it in and let it cool down so it really gives them an idea of what it is doing, seems to be worse when its cool. I'll keep you updated on mine, it sounds like a common thing with the fj's closed tray system.

Ok cool. I will let the dealership figure out what's wrong with yours before they start throwing parts at mine and charging me an arm and leg, since yours is still under warranty. LOL.  Let me know what they figure out.

Thanks
