FJ Cruisers of Northern California

I am trying to find the correct bolt for this hole (in picture). I need to install the reinforcement brackets but can't seem to find the right bolt. I bought the bumper used and did not come with all bolts which is not a big deal. I have found all appropriate bolts except that one. I have searched the forums and have a bunch of extra bolts now. Any one with any info would be appreciated.

My bumper has a bolt there. If i remember it is a very fine thread. You should be able to take this picture to Toyota and they should be able to tell you. I could also try removing mine and try to measure it.

That's is a super-fine thread, 12mm x 1.25 pitch, the same size/thread used on the TRD Bilstein/Tokico shocks.

Finer thread than the FJ wheel studs/lug nuts which are 12mm x 1.5.

Cha, they have them in grade 10 at Ace in Roseville.  Thats where I bought mine.  I highly suggest chasing out the threads with a tap first if you can find the right one.
I used a Dremel wire brush in my cordless drill so I could turn it slowly. Run it all the way in and out and the threads should be clean. A tap would certainly work as well.

I saturated the bolt with my Lenox thread cutting oil then turn the bolt in and out every one full turn of the wrench.

Thanks to all responders. I appreciate all the info.
