in observance of Social Media Day, i'll be hosting a live chat session that will help you make the most of your membership on this website. this is a special edition of our usual Wednesday Night Chat Nights.
Date: Thursday, June 30
Time: 9:00 PM
log into the NorCal FJs Chat Room this coming Thursday evening to discuss and ask questions regarding:
- How to change your profile page, name, and URL
- How to add photos/videos in your discussions
- Learn about the Resources tab

- How to add music to your profile page
- ...and more

Your "hint" to qualify: I wasn't able to figure out how to join the NorCal FJ Group on Facebook. I found StepCal. Maybe I need training on that first :-). Also, since I can no longer send PM's from my home laptop, will I still be able to chat with it?

why can't you send PMs from your home computer? are you running IE9? if so, there is a workaround for it on this discussion thread.
chat has nothing to do with the Inbox functionality, but if you are running the website on an iPad or iPhone, you won't be able to join because Flash does not work on those platforms.
there should be a join button of some sort for the group on Facebook.

Um, IE9? Wouldn't know what we're running. Could be XYZ for all I know. Used to be abel to send PM's. but last few time it just sat there after hitting send. Maybe it's just my lighting fast Comcast!
Couldn't find the group on Facebook to be able to hit a join button.
