FJ Cruisers of Northern California
Does anyone know if the FJ is pre-wired for fog lights? If so which location for the switch? Also who is this swissarmysuv guy? I like the kit for bumper mounting lights.

The only way I know of an FJ being pre-wired would be the dealer option fog/driving lights.
I am not sure what year you have, but I found on my '07, that there is a sheet metal plate just below the top stock bumper in front of the grill. I drilled through the top of the bumper and bolted a pair of Hella 550's to the plate.
This held up well until I finally tossed the stock tupperware for a winch bumper.
The FJ has a good firewall pass through on either side, so it's fairly easy to wire. You could buy a factory switch that will fit into your center console, or just use the switch that comes with your lamp kit.
I used the factory parts to connect the lights in my ARB Bumper.
To use the factory wiring you need the following parts
Parts List:
(1) Fog Light Switch PN: PT297-35070-SW
(1) Switch Harnes PN: PT297-35070-SH
(1) Lamp Harness PN: PT297-35070-LH
(1) AUX relay PN: PT297-89016
(1) 15 amp fuse
See attachment for the Toyota installation document.
If you want to hack it to have on all the time or to work with low and high beams you need to modify the relay.
This post on the blue room will walk you through that process.
I've done the hack you just need to remember to turn them off.
Or to make it easy pick up a sPOD
