My Next Mod? Red Eye Fabrication Custom Tire Carrier System

i'm actually quite content with my stock bumper setup, but Red Eye Fabrication's custom tire carrier system definitely caught my eye.



i think it is the single-motion open/close functionality, the clean lines and the heavy-duty build that did it for me. best of all, it integrates well with existing components like the hitch, backup sensors, etc. hmm, decisions, decisions.

technically, yes...but they are custom-built, not bolt-on. not sure on pricing, you'll have to reach out to Mark on that, but i'm pretty sure it will be priced competitively with the other production swingouts. i've seen about four swingouts and this one and 4x4 Labs, though much different in configuration, are the two standouts.

Mine is a bolt on, just lacking adjustability for frame tolerances

Boss

I'm just finishing up minor aesthetic revision's and testing.

My next step is finding a local and fitting a more adjustable version.

As it sits now it mounts my frame like a glove.

I still want that fit but need a little adjustability for tolerance changes in the fj's frame.

Next one will have this revision and can be installed by anyone with basic skills..

I'll know more on pricing after I build the next one, but I am shooting for one of the strongest and least expensive swingout's on the market.

We will definitely have to meet up before i order then.  I have a body lift and will like to compensate for that.

That thing is sick, and I definitely plan to replace my fab fours with this setup, but gotta regear and get skids first.
