OW has heavier spring weight to better manage the additional weight of a bumper, winch, and V8. You don't have to crank them down to get the same amount of lift. On the Icons I had, the more you cranked them down, the more harsh a ride they got. I had about 2" of thread showing on the Icons, the OW have barely an inch showing. OW offers local rebuilding programs (socal and norcal folks) by loaning a set of front or rear shocks while you get your rebuilt. I ran the rear shocks on my old FJ with a heavy rear bumper, and was very happy. I running this same setup on the 4R. Andries worked with me to custom valve the rears to match the coils and specific weight. Many of the people who work at Radflo were previously with Donahoe, so the same quality and knowledge are at Radflo too. Talk to Mark (expat) on your socal board if you're interested.
Been looking at the Radflos as a setup on my shortlist.  Any issues on your end?  Did you have the 2.0 or 2.5 on your fj?
I had the Icon setup on the FJ. I'm running the OW Radflo 2.5 on the 4runner now. Its a quality set-up, I suggest looking into it. Contact Bulldog (Andries) over on toyota120.com, he'll help you out without giving a salea pitch. Let him know I sent you.
Thanks.  Shot him a PM on 120.
