FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Have you always wondered what Tread Lightly! was all about? Interested in finding out how you can do your part in preventing trail closures? Then join us for a three-hour workshop at Hollister Hills SVRA on Saturday, March 19.

Reservations are required. Deadline to register is Friday, March 18 at 3:00 PM PST.

Register by RSVP-ing on the Tread Lightly! Awareness Workshop event page.

Date: Saturday, March 19, 2011

Time: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Hollister Hills Off Road Association (HHORA) Building (near the ranger station/check-in building - signs will direct you to the classroom)

Address: 7800 Cienega Road Hollister CA 95023

Instructors: Tony (Bossquatch) and Steve (potatomutato)

Due to limited seating, we ask those who are already familiar with Tread Lightly! principles to instead consider the Tread Trainer class offered later in the spring.

In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn:

  • Why we need an outdoor ethic
  • The five Tread Lightly! principles
  • How your offline and online behavior can affect outdoor enthusiasts everywhere

For questions, post up on this thread or PM Bossquatch or potatomutato.

WOO HOO.. We hope this to be the start of many Tread Lightly! events to happen this year...

Looking forward to seeing you there..

I also want everyone to know that this even has also been posted on HHSVRA events website and will also be posted in HHORA (Hollister HIlls Of Road Association) news letter, so I am sure we will fill up fast.
I am in.

Don't supposed taking a <1 month old baby to the workshop is a good idea ;-)

I am hoping there will be more sessions later this year!

Bump Bump

Let give this a Friday morning Bump !!

Remember space is limited and everyone needs to RSVP to be added to the list.

I was really looking forward to this when I posted interest back in May.  Unfortunately, I can't make it because I'll be working that weekend.  Oh well, maybe next time. I hope everyone has a good time.
no worries, Renfro. chances are there will be at least two more workshops this year. we'll post up details as soon as they become available.
Any chance there will be one in the Sacramento area?
i would say so.
There may even be one in the works as we type...
Good. Looking forward to it.
