So by looking at the weather, its suppose to start snowing mon.  The snow is suppose to continue for the next ten days or so.  If we get some ggod snow, me and my buddy will be planning a snow wheelin trip.  We were thinking Mormon Imigrant or hitting Uncle toms cabin.  Ill post up with the dates once we get a day planned.  Might be a sunday or a weekday tho.

Hi! What is the condition of the Mormon Immigrant trail? And where is Uncle toms cabin? We had to read a book about it at elementary school.

bye!

FYI, Uncle Tom's Cabin the anti-slavery novel by Harriet Beecher Stowe, has no relation to the bar that sometimes has wet t-shirt contests (Wentworth Springs Rd, Pollock Pines, CA 95726). Interesting that it was required reading in Italy, but not here.

Everything is under snow for a while.

Oh ok :| sorry

I thought it was a sort of... cabin on the trail like the ones you find in the Death Valley etc

Well after in the next few days, Mormon will be under many feet of snow!!! They do not plow that road.  Not sure where Uncle toms is exactly, but during winter storms, the only way to get there is mashing thru the deep snow in 4wheel drive.  My friend gets back today and we will get a date locked in.
Alright.... so were hittin Eagle Lakes tomorrow.  My buddy is meeting me in Roseville as Im staying at my brothers.  Well be leaving Roseville probaably around 9 AM.  Whoever is interested, please feel free to tag along.
Hey Philly, I am definitely interested in some snow wheeling this year, but maybe in the spring, when it starts to melt a bit.  Post up if you plan something later on.

Would love to see some pics of the trail condition...post some pics when you get a chance!

Well we just got home yesterday. My friend had a big house in south lake rented out. So we drove down from north lake. 7 days In tahoe!!! It was great. We tried hitting eagle lakes and fordyce. Got like 200 ft in and that was it. Too much deep snow. So we drove up to Reno to try some trails out there. It was ok I guess. Still like 2 ft of snow and a crap load of mud. Not my kind of fun. Not many pics at all. Looks like well have to wait a few months due to all the snow.
