You and opg4759 give discording versions :) who should I believe? My understanding is that the badge won't have the call sign engraved? But then why do they ask for it?

what are the "versions" you speak of? if you have any questions regarding this project, i would post them on the discussion thread in the Blue. i am only letting people know about it here in the Comms Group.

Well in fact now that I double checked he did not say anything different than what you did. He just pointed out that this product is not endorsed by this forum.

correct. we are not endorsing/sponsoring the product, meaning we have nothing to do with it other than alerting members here of a cool thing they may be interested in. all details, Q&A, transactions, complaints, quality issues, etc. are handled externally.

More then likely they are asking to make sure that it's Hams buying it and not just joe schmo.
