is it ever too early to begin planning for Surf N Turf 2010? the official website and MOB list is not up yet, but the dates are confirmed per TLCA's event schedule.
our base camp setup will be tweaked slightly to allow for better kitchen access for cooks and other minor details. prep meetings will begin this summer!

ATTENTION: Safety flags are now required on street legal vehicles whilst out in the dunes. no flags are required along the beach and where we camp.

the AllCal Republic will be treated to a special hog roast on Saturday night courtesy of BozTec. porky, potatoes and squash will be provided.

BAR SUPPLIES
We generally need mixers, usually run out of Cranberry juice too early, each time. Sprite/7-up/tonic are also popular.
We have a LOT of Vodka drinkers, we go through a bottle every 30 mins at night, so if you're undecided on which booze to bring, you cant go wrong with a medium$ vodka.
IF at any point you go to town, bringing back a bag of ICE for the bar/kegs is usually a good idea.
FYI, the rot-gut vodka's have been ignored, left over, and thrown away on Sunday morning. Apparently, no one will touch those.

BTW, since the NorCal dune flags will not be available this year, you can either buy some cheapies at one of the quad shops outside the entrance to Oceano Dunes or even better, take advantage of Fword Industries' special event offer: $20.00/flag...that's $5.00 off the regular price. they will be on the sand Friday late afternoon at our camp. Fword was an official AllCal 2010 sponsor!
and don't forget to bring your own plastic mug (or some other non-breakable mug) if you plan to indulge in some AllCal suds!
