is it ever too early to begin planning for Surf N Turf 2010? the official website and MOB list is not up yet, but the dates are confirmed per TLCA's event schedule.
our base camp setup will be tweaked slightly to allow for better kitchen access for cooks and other minor details. prep meetings will begin this summer!

ATTENTION: Safety flags are now required on street legal vehicles whilst out in the dunes. no flags are required along the beach and where we camp.

the AllCal Republic will be treated to a special hog roast on Saturday night courtesy of BozTec. porky, potatoes and squash will be provided.

Are their restrooms or showers available or are we fending for ourselves? Are dogs allowed?... is there a fee?
Or is there a website for me to look that up on if nobody already knows the answers.
Are there any must-brings that I'm forgetting to bring?

bring a plastic mug for beer. if you choose to bring your own, refrain from bringing glass.
you can find a lot of useful info on the SnT site (links in OP) or the Oceano Dunes SVRA home page.
are you and Andrew still planning on renting a trailer? if so, i'm assuming you'll be having it delivered on Friday? you'll probably have to be there to receive it to give them a location.

I wish we had the trailer, Andrew called the rental place a few weeks back but they were fully booked. Looks like we will be camping in tents like the rest of the group..

if you're looking for a place to chill out of direct sunlight, there may be some space in the family or base camp area, but probably not a dedicated shady spot for your lazy arse.
