ATTENTION: Safety flags are now required on street legal vehicles whilst out in the dunes. no flags are required along the beach and where we camp.

is it ever too early to begin planning for Surf N Turf 2010? the official website and MOB list is not up yet, but the dates are confirmed per TLCA's event schedule.

our base camp setup will be tweaked slightly to allow for better kitchen access for cooks and other minor details. prep meetings will begin this summer!

the AllCal Republic will be treated to a special hog roast on Saturday night courtesy of BozTec. porky, potatoes and squash will be provided.

Anybody heading past highway 5? Or maybe I should just go home Thursday night and meet up with you guys when you pass San Jose (I'm assuming the convoy will be going down 101?).

ATTENTION: unlike SnTs in the past, Oceano Dunes is now requiring all street legal vehicles to mount safety flags while out in the dunes. you will not need one if you only plan on driving along the beach. i will be creating another safety flag thread in the next week or so to find out how many we will need. if you do not want a NorCal FJ safety flag, there are other online websites that sell generic or printed flags.

i have attached the specs required for the flag to the OP. essentially, the flag needs to be at least 8' above ground when parked and be red or orange.
