FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Picked up a new '13 Trail Teams FJ on Monday after a couple years of wanting one.  This is my first 4x4, so it would be great to meet up with some experienced drivers in the future.

I'm in El Dorado Hills, so Prairie City is probably in my future.  I've been driving past it for the past 4 years thinking about how much fun it would be.

My son was talking about going for a hike this weekend, so I might go to Bassi Falls.  That will give me a an excuse to drive on dirt.  Nothing technical just a dirt road with a few rocks and divots, I used to do it in my PreRunner and I have seen plenty of small cars at the trail head, but still it will be fun to be on dirt for the first time in my FJ.

Nice rig!  Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the elite Trail Teams Edition club.

LOL : D

I am just up the road from you in Placerville. Keep an eye out for a white 2008 TT as I drive to EDH for work.

Thanks for all the welcome messages.

DWH, I'll wave if I see you.

My son and I did the Slate Mountain trail on Saturday.  It is an extremely easy trail, so I felt comfortable having it be my first time out in my FJ.  It was fun, but wow, I couldn't believe how dirty my FJ got.

Welcome. Dirty is the FJ's natural state and usually only seen in the wild.

My cement ended up looking like quicksand.

Get used to it! I went out Sunday with DWH, spent 5 hours cleaning her up today.

wellcome

You're going to love it! Welcome!
