Looking to add removable steps to my OEM rock rails

I have the TT SE OEM rails (I assume same as any OEM rail?). Anyway, I recall reading where a member here or in the FJ Forum had found steps that fit nice and were just bolt on. Girlfriends been complaining since the lift and tire - can I get some help shutting her up, please? :-) (Hope she doesn't eavesdrop on the forum - don't think so since she hears to much "FJ" already :-).

You could always have a little box that you pull out when she gets in.

Or if you were a gentileman you could always help her up in the FJ.. LOL

I have never seen a bolt on step. But then again I have never looked for one either.

Maybe you could make somehting up. Get some square tube and angle and make it up. Drill a hold in the rock rail and put a bolt through the top of the newly built step and the rock rail and secure it with a nut and washer on the bottom. Then it could be taken off easily when you get to the trail.

Hope it goes without saying that the steps will come off before wheeling - two bolts each, not bad! I'm a little lazy too, so, maybe just put one on passenger side.
