Carbonic Service - Santa Clara

So you picked up a power tank or some other C02 system, yet you have no idea where to get it filled.

Well look no further then Carbonic Service in Santa Clara. These folks understand what a power tank is in fact they are now a dealer. They are probably one of the best places price wise in the Bay Area to fill a tank, my 10 lbs tank was 14 dollars to fill the last time I had it filled.

Update: Price went up a little 17 dollars now still a deal.

Also found out that they are now doing in house hydrostatic testing of CO2 tanks. This is great news since they no longer have to send your tank out which can take up to 2 weeks. This is important since your CO2 tank is required to be tested every 5 years.

I have recently got a powertank and hi-jack but I havnt modded the truck yet (I cant decide what I really want and need). I started with these two items in case I go somewhere with only one truck.

I decided to get a tank since it is easier to use, easier to install (no install vs installing a compressor under the hood) and it is just a nice toy I like. I have used Tater's tank in Sierras and I loved it. Then I read about it and decided I dont want to refill it too often so I got 15lb one. It was probably a mistake since it is much bigger than 10lb....but on the other hand, on occasions that we all go together, it's always better to have more air in case someone else needs it...

And having a tank I can easily air-up my bike if I need it.

Great company. Love the fact that I can stop by lunch time and they fill it while I wait!! No need to drop off and pick up later. Prices have been very reasonable as well.

another good vote for Carbonic. I was there today for a refill and my tank was leaking between the tank and valve after they filled it. He took the time to tighten it and check for leaks before topping it back off for me. They are really friendly and quick too in addition to great service :)
