I bought my TT FJ almost 2 years ago from Toyota.. It had the Procomp lift and a nice set of 20" knight chrome wheels wrapped with Toyo tires.. just recently the knight chrome on the wheels started to crack, had something to do with the clear coat finish.. I called 4WP and i guess im not the first to complain about it.. well.. long story short.. they decided to replace my wheels since the wheels i had were discontinued.. i got to pick any set of wheels i want.. That was a month ago.. i guess its on "backorder".. I was curious to see if that was true.. so i had someone call and ask for the same wheel.. guess what? it's in stock.. i called later that day to the guy ive been dealing with and now he tells me "it's not in stock" and that the wheels are backordered till the first week of December.. Does anyone else see something wrong here? does 4WP honor their warrantees? would they have treated the situation differently if i was a regular paying customer?

They should swap it out with no problem cause the wheels that they have are from Pro Com anyways. You should tell him that one of your FJ buddies just bought the same wheels that back ordered. or even call Pro Comp yourself and let them know.
i lost faith in procomp wheels @ $375 a wheel X5 i expect it to last greater then 2 years.. so i went with XD wheels..
I hope 4WP is not thinking that you will forget about your wheels...lol good choice on the XD wheels..
last thing i wanted to hear from 4WP after waiting 30 days is "sorry, 30 to 45 more days, don't call us we will call you when it comes in, have a nice day.." not easy to wait when your left with that.. not the exact words but thats how they made me feel.. i got a hold of dan from DSI.. i guess he's the one that deals with all the auto dealers when modifying trucks on the sales lot.. while i was on the line he called the manufacturer and tried to expedite my situation.. they do have the wheels in stock except it's the wrong back space.. and the right ones are on backorder.. plus since they are from overseas it will be a while since they ship the items via cargo containers.. still has to go to customs.. bla bla bla.. anyways.. i guess maybe it was the fact that i was dealing with the people in 4WP.. poor customer service in my opinion.. dan from DSI did what he could and will keep me updated instead of me calling 4WP and getting the feeling they have no time for you..
I don't want to bad talk 4wp cause I've gotten all my tires for them sometimes your just a #
MTA has had problems with them inb the past.. They are sponsers of our event and not always as "able" to do things the we want them to do. Not the best customer service IMO either. But they are one of the only stores around local so maybe they figure they can treat people like poo and get away with it.. At least U got some help..

hope in 30 days this will all be resolved.. HOPE is the operative word
you'll hear both good and bad about 4WP's customer service. i received good service when i bought my wheels from them. wheels are an odd thing, i spent months looking for the wheel i wanted. all the online vendors (more than 10) i checked out had them listed for sale, but none had them in stock and many stated they were discontinued. turned out they were indeed discontinued. it was pretty frustrating.
