So, Here we are again. Summer is coming fast. We had a great time last time and I'm sure this year will be the same. We will be camping at Donnor Lake from June 23-26. This campground has full facilities except for hookups. They have showers and bathrooms. If you are attending please add your name to the list. Let me know when you have booked and what site you are in. Below is the schedule.

NO ONE WILL BE AT DONNOR LAKE DUE TO CANCELLATIONS. THOSE OF US WHO ARE STILL ATTENDING WILL BE WITH THE FREE CAMPING GROUP AT THE EAGLE LAKES TRAIL HEAD.

I am in SIte 049 at donnor for those who are getting reservations. also, FRS will be our main mode of communication on the trails so, please try to get some decent radios before the trip. some of us will have extras, and will be happy to loan them out, but dont count on them. I like to communicate a lot on the trails to make sure everyone has a safe and fun experience.
Also I am lookin for 3-4 NON-DRIVER volunteers with good heads on their shoulders as designated spotters, these people will be given radios and will be required to help spot everyone through obstacles. If you have a passenger with who would like to help out as a spotter, PM me.

Thursday afternoon:
Fire roads, Last time we were in this area we did a nice leisurely fire road loop with some great views. We will be doing this loop
Friday, 10am Start
On Friday we will be running Signal hill.

Possibly do some more fire road exploring in the morning.

Price is $35 per night. There is a $8 Reservation fee.
You can have 8 People per site and 2 vehicles.
I suggest people group up to save money.

I think your best bet will be to just show up at the trail head at the designated time. If you happen to have ham radio then you will be able to get ahold of me that way. I will give you my cell number, but i doubt we will have signal

Wife and I will be coming through from Colorado and may join you Saturday. We won't be camping, just doing trails. What's the best way to contact the group once we arrive?

Just a heads up. there are several people who wont show up til friday and will only make the saturday run so we have switched up the trail runs.

Great news folks. I just heard back from the Fordyce creek trail association and the eagle lakes portion of the trail has been clear of snow since memorial day. should be a nice run!

Lets get an update here. Please update your status if you are still attending. I know there are quite a few on the list that never confirmed if they had a campsite reserved. just trying to get a more accurate count since this is only 2 weeks away.
