Event Description

Every year Shaver Lake has a fireworks display over the lake wich can be seen very well from the top of Bald Mountain. This year it will be on July 7th. It is an easy trail with some side atractions like Posi rock, V rock and hollywood hill. All skill levels can run this trail with no damage to your rigs even if its stock with street tires. Ill be heading up friday the 6th to gain a camping spot below the trail head.

Comment by Blowtorch Betty on July 2, 2012 at 5:20pm: Depending on how cold it is at night, we might have to substitute hot toddies for cold beer. Any idea on how cold it'll get there at this time of year? Every time I go camping, it seems to dip into the 30s or 20s at night.
