Event Description

Yes I get antsy and post way early!!!

Thursday- meet at the park and ride on 41 and 145 just outside fresno cali at 12 noon then drive up the hill to set up base camp.

Friday funday- We are trying to decide on Strawberry again or hitting Red lake trail which is harder I would recomend a 32 or larger tire and at least a 3 inch lift with sidders. For the rest I will hopefully find a volinteer to head a run into corwright again for some light wheeling and fishing. That night Me and my buddy Kamdizle will man the grills to make the main corse for the pot luck. Please if you can bring sides or even paper plates etc.

Saturday-as of now due to the fireworks change to sunday > Bald mountain run all day with (bring your own ) lunch on the rock we will stop at the auxiliary stuff like Hollywood hill, posie rock, Vrock, moon rock, and a few others. We will head back to bace camp for some party time.

Sunday - If enough of us can get Monday off we will do the run up bald around 1pm to watch the fireworks on top of bald and drive back in the darkness to bace camp

Monday - tear down and drive home (the worst day of the event

Notice: next year me and Melissa are planning on going to south lake Tahoe for the 4th so keep your eyes out we may do an event for the trails in that area if not I will appoint someone to run this event in my place. I believe there are enough original trippers to keep the run alive till my return. Remember ay suggestions to make this event better are more than welcome. I put this on to see my norcal buddies and have some fun lets keep it that way.

Bring a side for friday nights fiasco / please comment with what youre bringing.

Comment by crawlinrollins on May 25, 2015 at 9:22am: I talked to the organizers of the fireworks event at Shaver Lake they said the reason behind the change was because of it landing on the 4th they do not have enough emergency crews in the area if something went wrong. My question to everyone on the going list is can you get Monday off??? I still have to see if I can get that day off. If so we can just extend the trip if not we will still run bald mountain on Saturday with the chance to mess around on the hill and have lunch on the top then party in camp that night.. What are your thoughts friends???
