Well man o man a M107? Get yourself a firing pin and come out to my neck of the woods! My gun club out here has a 1000yd match almost every other month. It cost $25 to shoot in it and and they give decent prizes for the top three shooters in each category. No worries about restrictions on firearms as long as they aren't full auto. Hey and as long as you had it prior to 2005 you are good to go! Nice youtube clip by the way! nothing better than a sexy woman holding a sexy rifle LOL!

You are correct about having to have a "non detachable magazine" to be able to have the pistol grip, collapsible stock, flash hider. You can how ever have a muzzle break or a scope if you wish. Those aren't listed as so called "evil features" You can not however have a night vision scope on any rifle or pistol in good ol California. I have a bullet button which makes it so I can only remove the mag with the use of a tool such as an Allen wrench, bullet tip, or this nifty ring I made that I wear on my trigger finger that has a knob that protrudes about half an inch. I can remove a mag just as fast as somebody with a standard mag release but still be legal. Check out calguns.net they have all the information you will need to know. Cheers!

Yeah, I have smaller hands so the 1911 is a perfect fit, the Beretta is a bit to big for my hands, but I guess I better get used to it going into the Army. Speaking of Glock I shot my buddies custom .40 and man oh man it was a nice pistol. We shot this stage during a match where you have to simulate a malfunction and use your team mates pistol. I was glad my partner had his glock. We ended up winning that match. I missed a gunshow two weeks ago but will keep my ears open. Cheers!

Well it's a question of personal matter etc. Many say a 9mm and the F92 in particular is too big for many uses... speaking of Taurus, I once saw their "raging bull" model, the so called "big game hunting pistol" or "two hands pistol"... well pretty impressive, even if the construction details were nowhere near a Beretta or Glock (my boss used to be a Glock enthusiast).

When is the next gun show :) ?

I have tried the BerettaF92, well The Taurus version of it.. Although I agree it is a nice pistol, I would take a 1911 any day of the week...I'm not a huge fan of the 9mm. True you can hold more rounds, but nothing a 10 round mag cant help with. Plus you just can't beat the .45's knock down power. I get about the same kind of accuracy from a .45 than allot get with their 9mm. Oh yeah my family is from Europe by the way I was born and raised in Cali!

As far as I know the 1911 is not very common in Europe, but here in the US I've seen it often compared to the Beretta F92. Have you ever tried a Beretta? They make them near the place I come from :)

The pistol is a Kimber custom II (1911 .45) As for my AR-15, I had built it myself from an off list lower. When I first built it I was not yet into competitive shooting. It serves me well for the time being, but I have been noting changes I will be making as the pocket book will allow! Fixed stock is right up there near the top of the list.
