Welcome to Red Eye Fabrication

Adjustable Swaybar Link Set

The all-new adjustable swaybar link set from Red Eye Fabrication is designed to withstand some of the most grueling off-road conditions. They are made using heavy wall steel throughout and are easily rebuildable. Each joint has a grease zerk fitting and uniball-style, articulating fluted bushings for a squeak-free, long lasting joint.

Both front and rear links come with custom machined aluminum spacers* designed to set the links at 0 degrees and grade 10.9 zinc plated bolts for corrosion resistance.

The rear links are made 3/4'' longer than the factory links to bring the swaybar closer to the factory position if you have a lift kit installed. They also can be lengthened beyond the 3/4'' pre-set depending on your lower rear link configuration. When combined with the soon-to-be-released swaybar relocators, your swaybar will be very close to the ideal factory position for increased articulation.

Choose from all black powder coating, red-black combo or silver-black combo.

MSRP: Front links - $185.00, rear links - $205.00, rear swaybar locator (TBA)

* Two different upper spacers are available (please specify). One standard 1/2'' wide and one 1'' wide to correct the swaybar link misalignment caused by swaybar relocaters.

Red Eye Fab Swaybar Relocator Kit (for lifted vehicles)

When an FJ Cruiser is lifted with aftermarket suspension, the rear swaybar re-positions at a downward angle, effectively reducing downward droop/flex. An alternate means of regaining downward droop/flex is to remove the rear swaybar altogether at the expense of body sway and poorer handling.

The Red Eye Fab Swaybar Relocator Kit moves the swaybar upwards approximately 1" towards the factory neutral position, reducing the lift-induced angle. When the relocator kit is used with the Red Eye Fab adjustable swaybar links, the swaybar reverts back to the neutral position for increased flex and less stress on the swaybar bushings and end links.

The Red Eye Fab Swaybar Relocator Kit includes:

  • Relocation plates made from ASTM A36 steel
  • Silver powdercoating
  • Grade 10.9 hardware
  • Energy suspension bushings and brackets

MSRP: $75.00

Cargo Carrier
Red Eye's cargo carrier was designed to take advantage of the under-utilized space on the rear side shelves of the cargo area.

The main frame is constructed with 1/2'' .049 HREW tubing and 3/16'' thick steel plate is used for the attachment points.

The cargo carrier utilizes the two factory hook locations so no drilling or modifications are required for the install. The front heavy gauge deformed metal allows you to see what's in your carrier and can be used as attachment points to secure a multitude of items.

MSRP: $150.00

Red Eye Fab cargo carriers are built to order.

Red Eye Fab also works on a variety of custom projects, including the rear tire carrier system.

I want to thank Mark at Red Eye Fabrication for creating a rear window barrier for my K-9 Partner Artos.  I was looking to give my 90lb. pup a more secure area in the rear of the FJ and Mark came through.  His fabrication was top notch and the finished project looks amazing.  Thanks again Mark!

End of March (aka Tax Refund time) is a freakin' great time. :)

Good news !

Metal tech will be producing and selling the bumpers in the near future.

They are better equipped to get these out there at an affordable price then I am.

We are shooting for the end of March to have them ready.

I'd be interested in the tire carrier as well.  Let me know.

Sorry JPG.

I just went through my old emails and did indeed forget that you wanted a set, my mistake.

I sent ya email ....about getting some links.....What is the status of production?
Comment by 2007fj on October 18, 2011 at 11:07am

I'll be ordering parts for another batch of links etc this week.

My back is finally doing better and I started my 1st customer based tire carrier.

Been extremely busy working a non redeyefab job so I have to juggle my schedule around to find the time to fab things up.

All emails have been replied.

Damn, sucks to hear man. Hope everything heals well and soon so you can get back to wheeling.

Ruptured a disc in my back so the bumpers are on the back burner for a bit.
Comment by rotorhead on August 2, 2011 at 2:54am
Whatever it takes to get this bumper finished and available. I'm very interested in this over the other options.
Comment by Dave(man) on July 27, 2011 at 11:33pm
i've seen this bumper/carrier set-up firsthand and can attest to it's quality....
Comment by 2007fj on July 11, 2011 at 1:43pm

Original customer based test rig for a bumper fell through.

I did install a safety latch system that I am much happier with.

The tire carrier/bumper has been solid as a rock no rattles at all.

Swaybar relocators listed above are $75 (I forgot to list the price)
