When you upsize tires (bigger than 33"), your engine has to work harder to turn them, less mpg, less power. Regearing helps to turn bigger tires. Once you go bigger than 33" tires, you should think about regearing.

thanks bro. If you look at the specs for a V6 and V8, there isn't much difference, but damn, you can tell the difference if you drove it. It's got some low end grunt and gets up quick. I've got 35" now and the re-gearing is a huge plus.

Hey if you're interested in a weekday run, I don't have classes on Fridays. We could go to Prairie City or something?

Yeah, the snow was from last year...I have been meaning to change it
but since it's almost winter I decided to just leave it.
We got thru just before they closed Donner Pass! To everybody!

lol...It's funny everytime I see you I seem to find something going on in your rig that needs to be looked at...It's all good cause it keeps you out of trouble on the trail, I always do maintenance check on my rig that's why I always check everyones rig for and sign of up coming issue and can be looked at by Toyota and use that warranty card..:-)

HAHAHA ok the difference between valving on the front and rear shocks will make the FJ buck and hop you'll need to get some stock shocks or something softer than what you've got in there now, toytec is a cheaper option or the bilstine TRD shocks that came stock on my ride if I ever get mine sent down to get rebuilt you could bum those for awhile

Cool. How long are you up for? I left you a message on the FJC forum a minute ago. I'm putting the baby to bed in a minute but give me a text on my cell when you get a chance. As I said in my other message I generally work way too much, but I'll find a way to meet up and get the sliders to you. My cell # is (209) 986-3701.
