Hitch is easier to load but you have to get one that swings away from the door so you can open it. If you have a stock spare then you can get a Thule spare tire like rack, sonof40 has one of those.

Damn that thing looks good with a bike on it. Was considering the hitch mount. May have to go with roof now.
