South Lake Tahoe

This is a road off the end of the Rubicon, turn left instead of driving into Tehema and this road takes you over the top of the Homewood ski resort, if you look down from here to the Lake you look out over Homewood Ski Resort.
We drove Rubicon from the east entrance to Observation Point and back. We didnt have the time to continue, its a slow rocky road that takes at least one overnight camping trip to complete, either direction. This was more fun, and scenic anyway, and we stayed in a hotel in South Lake and enjoyed great mountain biking and great off road trips to fantastic views, like this one.
