They hold it surprisingly tight, the only trouble I'm having is the velcro strips peeling off the 2" straps. I found a good supplier for strapping online that is pre-made but only in 1.5" wide not the 2" that I would prefer. I'm using black zip-ties to help hold the straps right now until I figure out what I want to do. I can go 65-70 mph right now with no probs. : )

coolio! do the straps hold the panel pretty taut so they don't flutter in the wind while on road?
