OFF button for what? I ask at Toyota and no one has seen this one. Go figure. Does anyone know what this is for?

i think it depends on the year. for me, that button is used to turn off the internal motion sensor when engaging your alarm. i think for recent years, it is for the glass breakage and/or proximity, but not sure. it's pretty standard, so i'm not sure why your dealership didn't know what it was.
