SKS

This is my 1961 Yugoslavian M59/66 SKS. This rifle was never issued and NEVER fired. It took me 5 hours to clean the Cosmoline off the thing. Still in it's original box with all the goodies, i.e. cleaning kit, sling, ammo belt, speed clips etc. It still has the 20mm grenade launcher with Tritium flip up sites and bayonet. :)

Comment by MoabFJ on May 26, 2009 at 12:43pm: I have always liked the SKS. A buddy back in houston added a 30rnd fixed mag with a collapsible stock and made a nice shooter out of it. Check any ranges before you bring it out to shoot. A number of them will not allow SKS's.
when the sear wears, they can go full auto with no warning. No range officer likes that kind of attention.
