quick answer is ......

Maybe... the lift would help but it MAY fit
the 265's would fit forsure
yes the 265's are the stock size, the 285's will fit depending on the manufacturer, some fit without a lift some don't
Those are what I had on my FJ... they will fit with a slight rub on articulation.
I ran this tire size (Wrangler M/T) at stock height and with factory alloys. It was tight on the turns, but doable.
well give 'em a shot... if they rub we can give it a body mount chop...
Yea I'll see I'm still deciding on what kind of tires I should get.thanks for all the help
IMO the KM2s are one of the best choices of tires available. I took them trough hell and beat the shit outta them and after 40k in Miles the still had half the thread of not more.... Just rotate them every and keep them filled at 40-50psi.
Pro-Comp I just got 51,000+ outta my last set and they are still alive
what kind of pro comps are they?

i wanted to get a lift but it would void my warenty so i have to wait till 100,000 miles then i thik il get some 285's.
That is bad information, generally spread by tools at dealerships.

We have all lifted our trucks looooong before our bumper to bumper ran out. I don't believe many here have had problems with warranty work. We pulled my truck back from Deer Valley last year with a broken ring and pinion, directly to my dealership. Everything was covered, no problems.

Do not wait 100k to mod your truck. Just understand that you should get to know your service advisor, and don't bring the truck in with obvious trail damage to the broken component and expect them to cover you.
This is a case of pay to play.
X2

If they say a lift will do somehting to void the warrenty, The burdon of proof is on them (dealership) to prove.

ALso, they have lost some lawsuites because they have advertised that their FJC can go off road. In these ads they show an FJC going in dirt and through mud puddles. This was enough to convince a judge that since they had these images in their ads, then they were showing their truck in offroad situations and promoting the use of this truck off road.. SO they could not try to void warrenty's due to taking an FJC off road...

So I would not worry about lifting yoru truck..
