You can come to Carnegie in Livermore. It's very small, but was great for my 'safe practice' area as I was a noob. I can join you there in a couple weeks, or the week after next after 4:30.

Hey Jason, first off welcome to the site, there are a great group of FJer's here and they are always ready to help anyway they can.  I am in Clovis and off for the next three weeks if you would like to head up to some beginner trails near us. Depending on the weather and  your comfort level there are a few options if they are open. Just let me know if you are interested and we can plan something.

That would be awesome Nekguda! Next weekend is Christmas. The weekend after is new years. I'd be looking at the weekend after that. Or I could take a day off work during the week one day. Actually the Friday before new years would be good. It's December 30.

Shaver lake is an awesome place.  I attempted coyote lake a while back and ended up not being able to clear the last obstacle.  I've heard strawberry is an easier run.  If you get the opportunity, go with some experienced guys.  I'll look you up when we head back out.  Added bonus, best biscuits and gravy at the local diner in shaver lake!
