I just got a GoPro and captured some good video from Hollister this past weekend. I want to be able to splice video, cut out the BS, add music and text. Anyone know of a decent FREE video editing program out there?

Thanks!

I used "Video Pad Video Editor" for free for a year and liked it so much I bought the upgraded version.

Cant wait to see some highlight that I missed... bittersweet, biiter damn sweet

Windows Movie Maker (for PC) and iMovie (Mac) are both free and somewhat decent. I personally use either Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere and I love them. If you really start getting into filming and editing, I'd suggest investing in a quality program (or torrent it).
