What did you do to your FJC Today???

Hello All,

I've seen this thread on other forums, looks like fun...I'll get it started.

I drove my rig to work (first time I've had it out in a few weeks). Took it in for a wash..

I have ricochet skid plates, I used the same attachment points just with new hardware.

Wow, hanging hundreds of pounds off those fasteners and removing each 10K for oil/filter change doesn't instill much confidence in me. If I get to that stage Id probably drill/tap my own fasteners.

These existing mounts on my 2012 lasted 4 oil changes at best!

My budbuilts don't have to come off for oil changes don't know about ricochet though

i was curious and looked that is true for 07-09 but 10+ you do have to remove the ricochet's to access the filter. The buds have a hatch.

My rear mud-flaps kept trying to leave the vehicle so I went to Napa Auto for Balkamp plastic rivets to replace broken factory parts. Balkamp # 665-1387 $2 for 4. All is right with the world now.
