I noticed peeling/chipping around the vinyl door trim on my driver side door.  Is there any way to touch this area up?  After searching the blue room, I know that it's factory paint beneath the vinyl and some have opted to remove the vinyl completely.  I don't want to go that route.  My concern is that one of the chips, closer to the window, shows signs of rust.  Should I be concerned?  Anyone info/help would be appreciated, thanks.

Toyota calls it "Black Out Tape" Instructions for R&R are in the Exterior section of the repair manual. You can get replacements from the dealer.
I would try some electrical tape first or black area from a vinyl sticker to see how it matches. Won't look too good up close but it's better than nothing.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to try some TrimBrite tape to see if I can mask it.

But now that's the least of my worries.  Just got rear ended on the way home from work during rush hour today =(.

New Bumper on their dime!!!   Sorry, trying to silver lining it.

LOL, I'm close to pulling the trigger on the Demello front bumper with the group buy (pending wife). Maybe I'll add the rear depending on how much the other party's insurance estimates/quotes for the damage.  It just sucked seeing damage to my 2-month old FJ.

My buddy got rearended twice in his.  first one paid for his front and rear bumper.  Second bought him a new rear and he got to keep his previous which he sold for 500 bucks :-)
